Understand the condition of your trees and plan the next steps. Caledonia Tree Care provides tree inspection and survey services for homes, businesses and landowners across Aberdeenshire and North East Scotland.
Start with the reason for your survey
You may have concerns about a particular tree, need a written condition report, or be planning work near existing trees. Tell us what you need the information for so we can agree a suitable inspection or survey before you commit.
Tree inspections and condition reports
An inspection considers the tree and its surroundings to help identify concerns and inform management decisions. The agreed scope may cover an individual tree or a group of trees, with findings and recommendations recorded in a report where required. Any recommended further investigation, access requirements and limitations should be clear.
Reports for a specific purpose
If a council, insurer, architect or another professional has requested a report, send us their brief. Planning-related surveys and other specialist reports need to address the intended purpose. We will confirm the appropriate scope and deliverables rather than assume that a general tree inspection will meet every requirement.
What to send us
- The site address or postcode and, if helpful, a what3words location.
- The approximate number of trees and the reason for the enquiry.
- Photographs, an existing plan or any written report requirements.
- Any deadline and details of site access.
We will discuss the requirements, price and timescale with you before agreeing the work.
